Crossing The Line (GL, Futa & ABO) - Chapter 1
Chu Yi had always dreamed of the day she could quit working and live off someone rich. Maybe she had prayed for it so often that a god finally decided to grant her wish. She got hit by a truck and woke up in the body of someone in an ABO world.
But whenever God opened a door for her, he seemed determined to close a window. Lying in bed, Chu Yi pulled up her pants and discovered that she had somehow acquired a set of organs she had only ever associated with men. She let out a piercing scream.
“What the hell is this?! (╯°Д°)╯︵┻━┻”
Hearing the noise from the second floor, the villa’s housekeeper hurried upstairs. She knocked twice on Chu Yi’s door. “Miss Chu, is something wrong?”
The knock interrupted Chu Yi’s breakdown. She took a moment to steady herself, pulled her pants back on so she wouldn’t have to look, and forced herself to sound calm. “It’s nothing. I saw a bug.”
“I’m sorry. I’ll have someone clean your room immediately,” the housekeeper replied apologetically. “There are washing facilities on the first floor, if you’d like to freshen up there.”
“All right.”
Chu Yi’s wealthy patron was Xie Zhijin, CEO of Xingyang City’s leading biotechnology company. Ambitious, decisive, visionary, strategic, an excellent judge of talent—every grand phrase you could use to pad out an essay had been used to describe her.
But she was an Omega. No matter how strong her mind was, her body’s instincts would eventually overwhelm her. Years of relying too heavily on suppressants to get through her heats had thrown her pheromones into serious disorder. She urgently needed an Alpha’s pheromones to soothe her.
That was why Xie Zhijin had chosen Chu Yi. She was an orphan with no family, withdrawn and sensitive because of the way she had grown up, and easy to control. More importantly, their pheromones had a compatibility rating of 70.35 percent—just enough to meet the minimum standard for soothing.
As soon as Chu Yi came of age, Xie Zhijin took her away, brought her to the villa, and had her sign an agreement to become her kept woman. She promised generous pay and benefits, then confined a country girl who had never encountered the dangers of city life.
The original Chu Yi would never get the chance to encounter them now. Her days shut inside Xie Zhijin’s villa had been darker and harder to bear than her life at the orphanage. She had felt like a pet locked in a cage. During a mental health crisis last night, she had swallowed pills obtained from who knew where and taken her own life.
That was how Chu Yi, a transmigrator from another world, had ended up in her body and inherited her place as Xie Zhijin’s caged bird.
“…Is this still me?” Chu Yi stood before the mirror. She looked just as she had before crossing over, except that her face was deathly pale, her lips had turned dark, and her eyes were vacant. She looked like a walking corpse.
Anyone with eyes could tell something was wrong!
Chu Yi hid the unfamiliar pills the original owner had taken, then pressed the call button to ask for breakfast. Using washing up as an excuse, she stayed in the bathroom while she dealt with the housekeeper. Only when she was alone again did she emerge and collapse onto the sofa to think.
What should she do? Run? Chu Yi tried to recall the original owner’s memories of signing the agreement with Xie Zhijin a month ago. But the original Chu Yi had been so timid and withdrawn that she had barely raised her head. She had stared at the floor almost the entire time, agreed to whatever Xie Zhijin’s assistant said, and signed without even reading the terms. She had sold herself without putting up any resistance.
With no idea what else to do, Chu Yi bent down, stuck her backside in the air, and pulled the agreement out from under the bed, where the original owner had thrown it. She read it carefully, word by word and page by page. Fortunately, the writing in this world was no different from what she was used to.
“So all I have to do is stay loyal to my patron, keep her secrets, stay healthy and maintain my stamina, avoid crossing any boundaries, and show up whenever she calls to soothe her—and I get a hundred thousand a month?! Holy shit, that’s a dream job! It even comes with six types of insurance and two benefit funds!” Three years as an overworked employee had made Chu Yi an easy sell.
A god finally heard my prayers to live off someone else? Waaah (:3[▓▓]
She decided to stay. To keep her comfortable new life—and keep anyone from realizing there was a different person inside the original Chu Yi’s body—she ate light meals every day, covered herself up in hoodies, and began exercising gently in the villa’s gym.
She still didn’t know what pills the original owner had taken, but she could feel her body slowly recovering. Even the monthly medical examinations found nothing unusual.
There was just one thing… Her scent seemed strange. At first, she could smell a faint ink scent on herself. Now it smelled like sandalwood with a hint of mint.
How odd.
But she had no time to dwell on it, because the day she would serve her patron in bed for the first time had arrived!
Lately, Xie Zhijin could clearly feel her body heating up at unpredictable times. Even the newest suppressants could no longer keep it under control. She needed to visit the Alpha she was keeping at the villa for pheromone soothing.
“I’m going to the villa at Moonlit Bay tonight. Make the arrangements.” After giving the order over the company intercom, Xie Zhijin sank wearily into her office chair. An aggressive wave of oud pheromones, laced with the scent of aged whiskey, burst through the office.
It was getting harder and harder… to control.
Xie Zhijin had known she would have to take this step eventually. Now that the day had come, she still found herself irritated.
Damn these Omega instincts!
She still had plenty of work to finish. Xie Zhijin replaced the suppressant patch that had stopped working and turned her attention back to it.
Chu Yi was busy too. As soon as Xie Zhijin’s instructions arrived, the housekeeper followed orders and came to the gym with a laptop containing study materials and an instructor who taught Alpha–Omega intimacy.
“Miss Chu, you have an assignment.”
“(⊙▽⊙)” Chu Yi stopped walking on the incline treadmill. “What is it?”
“Today will be your first assignment. This instructor will teach you how to soothe an Omega,” the housekeeper said, stepping forward to hand Chu Yi a towel. “Please wash up and come to the living room on the first floor. She’ll be waiting for you there.”
“All right.”
Chu Yi didn’t dare waste time. Whether she could win her patron’s favor and keep living off her depended on making a good first impression! She had prepared herself for this. No matter what it took, she would go through fire and water for that hundred thousand a month—especially after collecting three months of pay without doing a thing. 罒ω罒
Chu Yi paid close attention during the lesson. Soothing between an Alpha and an Omega relied primarily on pheromones. Sex was an instinctive response to desire that came along with the process and played only a small part in pheromone soothing. Still, combining pheromones with sex could help an Omega get through her heat more comfortably.
In female Alphas, the glands beneath the tongue did more than produce saliva. They were also connected to the glands in the neck, giving the saliva a relatively high concentration of pheromones. Without marking an Omega, a female Alpha could kiss her neck gland to deliver pheromones of high purity and concentration directly to it.
That was the method Chu Yi needed to master so she could soothe her patron without marking her.
“That’s right, just like that. Block the duct opening, apply pressure, then release it. The glandular fluid will squirt out.” The instructor looked at Chu Yi approvingly. She was a quick learner.
“Remember, don’t spray it directly onto the Omega’s neck gland. Coat your tongue with the fluid first, then kiss her gland gently. As you kiss her, leave small amounts of pheromone-rich fluid there a little at a time. Build up gradually.”
“Okay.” Chu Yi practiced diligently on the back of her hand.
Once she had learned that, they moved on to the next subject: soothing an Omega’s genitals with oral sex. Without penetrating the Omega, using a mouth coated in glandular fluid to ease her sexual urges during heat was the best approach.
The lesson left Chu Yi flushed and her heart racing. She had no time to be embarrassed, though. She committed every word the instructor said to memory.
Before long, evening arrived.
