My classmate seems to want to have s*x with me - Chapter 66
Qiu Yanzhen held the bouquet in one hand and a paper bag containing only a card in the other, displaying it for the world to see from the classroom to the bus and then to the cram school.
Although the bouquet wasn’t very large, it still attracted many glances. Ding Chen, walking beside her, felt like she was undergoing a public execution. Even though passersby had no idea that the flowers Qiu Yanzhen was holding were from her, she still felt inexplicably shy.
Qiu Yanzhen was clearly in a good mood, a bright smile constantly gracing her face. If the seats at the cram school hadn’t been so cramped, she probably wouldn’t have put the bouquet into the paper bag.
Ding Chen was actually very happy. After all, it was obvious that Qiu Yanzhen loved the gift she had given. Zhang Yiting and Lin Xinyue, who were in the same tutoring class as them, could practically see pink bubbles floating around Qiu Yanzhen.
Qiu Yanzhen’s fondness for the gift exceeded her expectations. She felt that the time she had spent making the flowers was well worth it. What surprised her even more was that Qiu Yanzhen, who was usually so focused in class, was particularly fidgety today. One moment she would pretend to write and press her arm against Ding Chen’s, the next she would gently tap Ding Chen’s heel, and then smile at her when Ding Chen turned around.
For the first time, Ding Chen found the cram school, which usually felt as cold as the Arctic, to be so hot. She wrote with her right hand and covered the lower half of her face with her left, trying to hide her idiotically happy expression. Fortunately, as time passed, Qiu Yanzhen gradually calmed down a bit and stopped “harassing” her so frequently, otherwise, she would have barely been able to concentrate on the lesson.
“Hurry, hurry, I really can’t take it anymore,” Zhang Yiting whispered to Lin Xinyue as soon as class ended, quickly packing her things.
Lin Xinyue was confused. “What’s wrong? What’s the rush?”
“Those two next to us have been exchanging glances and touching each other the whole time. My eyes are about to go blind,” Zhang Yiting gritted her teeth, deliberately raising her voice a little. “If I wasn’t sitting in between you, do you think you would have been spared?”
Ding Chen felt a little embarrassed and quietly put her books and stationery into her bag, pretending not to have heard anything.
Qiu Yanzhen knew they were teasing her and replied with a smile, “Those who haven’t received flowers made by their girlfriend wouldn’t understand.”
“That’s enough,” Zhang Yiting rolled her eyes dramatically and pushed Lin Xinyue towards the exit. “Let’s ignore them and go.”
Despite what she said, the group still walked to the bus stop together as usual. Qiu Yanzhen was indeed a bit too excited tonight. She tried hard to restrain herself, but Ding Chen’s reactions and indulgence made it really difficult for her to hold back.
“Was this difficult to make?” Qiu Yanzhen held Ding Chen’s hand and leaned close to her. “How long did it take you?”
“It was okay, just some cutting and gluing,” Ding Chen said embarrassedly. “I just worked on it whenever I had free time. I don’t know how much time it took in total.”
“You were doing this during evening self-study? I didn’t notice at all,” Qiu Yanzhen said. “We see each other every day.”
“Mm… at first, yes, but later I took it home to work on, because I was afraid someone would run and tell you,” Ding Chen felt her face heat up. “Of course I had to do it secretly. How could I let you find out?”
Zhang Yiting leaned closer to the paper bag Qiu Yanzhen was holding. “But why does this bouquet smell a little fragrant? Isn’t it made of paper?”
“It’s probably the scent of the dried flowers,” Ding Chen took a dried flower petal from the bouquet. “Smell it.”
Zhang Yiting leaned in for a sniff. “Oh, it really is.”
The conversation revolved around Ding Chen’s process of making the bouquet. However, the bus for Ding Chen and Qiu Yanzhen arrived after they had only chatted for a while, and they had to interrupt their conversation and say goodbye to the others.
“How did you think of giving this?” Qiu Yanzhen placed the paper bag on her lap, looking at the blue and purple bouquet inside.
“I just really wanted to give you flowers. I don’t know why,” Ding Chen’s eyes darted around, and she hesitated for a moment before saying, “Maybe because I thought you would look very beautiful holding flowers…”
“But then I thought fresh flowers would be troublesome and difficult to take care of, so I thought I’d make some myself.”
Qiu Yanzhen followed Ding Chen’s train of thought, trying to imagine what Ding Chen would be like if she received flowers from her. She would definitely hug the bouquet and shyly smile as she said thank you. That image was absolutely adorable.
Flowers paired with someone you like were indeed a very beautiful picture.
How much did Ding Chen like her to have such an imagination?
As Qiu Yanzhen thought about this, shyness suddenly washed over her.
Ding Chen picked at her fingernails, but waited for a long time without getting a response. She felt a little annoyed. “Why aren’t you saying anything?”
Qiu Yanzhen leaned against Ding Chen and buried her face in her shoulder. “Suddenly a little shy…”
Countless people had praised her beauty since she was little, and in many different ways. But Ding Chen’s simple statement made her happier and more fluttered than any time before.
Ding Chen was immediately at a loss. “Oh…”
The bus swayed and bumped along the road. She wondered if the driver was trying to save electricity, because even though it was night, the lights inside the bus weren’t on. Only the outside streetlights and car headlights shone through the windows, the dim yellow light flickering on and off, making people feel drowsy.
Something warm and soft suddenly pressed against Ding Chen’s jaw. Her body stiffened, and she first scanned her surroundings before turning her head to look at the culprit.
Before she could speak, another kiss landed lightly on her lips.
Ding Chen’s face flushed. “You—this is on the bus.”
Qiu Yanzhen reached out and took off Ding Chen’s glasses. “No one’s looking.”
Ding Chen’s vision instantly blurred, and she could only see Qiu Yanzhen’s face. Before she could protest further, Qiu Yanzhen pressed the back of her head and gave her a deep kiss.
The two were sitting in the second to last row of the entire bus. Unless someone deliberately turned their head, it was difficult to notice them. Inside the dimly lit carriage, most people were either looking out the window or had their eyes closed, resting.
Despite this, Ding Chen was incredibly nervous, but she also greedily savored the feeling of kissing Qiu Yanzhen.
The kiss didn’t last long. Qiu Yanzhen released Ding Chen and then put her glasses back on her face.
Ding Chen reached up to adjust her glasses, staring blankly at Qiu Yanzhen with a “is that it?” expression.
Qiu Yanzhen chuckled at Ding Chen’s unsatisfied look. “What’s wrong? Want more?”
Caught off guard, Ding Chen’s face was completely red. She could only feign anger. “Qiu Yanzhen, just you wait until we get to your house!”
“But we have tutoring tomorrow.”
“I don’t care. What’s wrong with taking a day off for your birthday?” Ding Chen said, flustered and annoyed.
“You’re so fierce~” Qiu Yanzhen pretended to be wronged. “It’s my birthday today, shouldn’t I get to decide?”
“…Then tell me what you want.”
Qiu Yanzhen smiled innocently. “Just go home and work on the handouts together, then take a shower and go to sleep, so we can get up early to study tomorrow.”
Ding Chen was utterly speechless. “Do you believe that I’ll just leave right now?”
“Oh come on, you know I was just kidding,” Qiu Yanzhen hugged Ding Chen. “It’s my birthday today, you’re not allowed to leave.”
Ding Chen snorted softly, but her body obediently leaned into Qiu Yanzhen’s embrace. After snuggling there for a few seconds, she said seriously, “If you’re too tired, it’s better to rest early.”
Looking at Ding Chen’s worried expression, Qiu Yanzhen said gently, “I’m ahead of my review schedule. It’s okay to wake up a little later tomorrow.”
“Really?”
“Really,” Qiu Yanzhen gently stroked Ding Chen’s hair. “Besides, didn’t you say it’s okay to take a day off for your birthday?”
“I don’t want to affect your studying,” Ding Chen said.
“Ding Chen, I can manage,” Qiu Yanzhen’s voice was very soft. “You believe me.”
“It’s not that I don’t believe you,” Ding Chen raised her head and said. “That’s not what I meant.”
“I know,” Qiu Yanzhen took Ding Chen’s hand and took a breath. “I want to ask you a question, but it might ruin the mood.”
“Go ahead,” Ding Chen’s voice was muffled. “It’s your birthday, you’re the boss.”
“Have you not wanted to do it lately because I rejected you that noon?” Qiu Yanzhen asked calmly.
Ding Chen immediately knew which day Qiu Yanzhen was talking about. She frowned and replied, “It’s not that I didn’t want to, it’s that you didn’t want to, right?”
Qiu Yanzhen was taken aback. “How could I not want to?”
Spare me, with your sexual desire value as low as a nun’s, how much could you possibly want to? Ding Chen muttered to herself internally.
But she didn’t want to bring up the sexual desire value issue.
“You know in your own heart.”
Qiu Yanzhen’s tone cooled down a couple of degrees. “Don’t talk like that.”
Just as the two were about to argue, the bus’s automated announcement suddenly sounded, indicating that the next stop was theirs. Qiu Yanzhen pressed the stop button, and the two walked to the front one after the other, waiting to get off.
