OO Romance—The Yuri Of All Yuri! - Chapter 3
Su Yi thought about it for only three seconds before decisively choosing the best solution.
Why should that woman get to occupy her body while she was the one suffering here? Whoever owned the body should deal with it herself.
Su Yi quickly picked up the white dress she had thrown into the laundry basket and pulled it back on in a few swift motions. She reached out to open the door, but after twisting the handle once, she withdrew her hand again. Turning on the faucet, she washed her face, hands, and arms under the running water, barely managing to wash away the lingering sensation of all that trembling before finally dragging her heavy body out.
As soon as she opened the door, she saw Bian Lu, who had been sitting on the edge of the bed, stand up. Bian Lu looked at her with a smile so rippling and blissful it was practically obscene.
“You’re done? That was fast. Mm… aren’t you going to change clothes?”
It would have been fine if she had not mentioned it. The moment she did, Su Yi felt even more uncomfortable, as if bugs were crawling all over her body. Out of habit, she crossed her arms with lofty arrogance, ready to mock her—but the instant she folded them, she immediately dropped them again.
Too obvious.
It felt completely different from when she normally crossed her arms!
Was the gap between a D and a C really that big?
Of course not. It was just that Bian Lu was so skinny she looked like dried pickled greens that had never fully grown, with thin arms and legs somehow carrying a D-cup. How could it feel the same when she crossed her arms?
Su Yi wanted to turn around and wash her arms again, but she forced herself to hold back. She did not like wasting effort. If she was going to solve this, she would solve it properly in one go.
Bian Lu walked over with concern, her eyes lowered and her expression meek. She did not look at all like the high-and-mighty young lady Su Yi was supposed to be. If anyone saw this, they would think Su Yi was easy to bully. How was she supposed to keep those old things on the board of directors under control?!
“I told you not to use my face to smile so disgustingly! Believe it or not, I’ll use scissors to cut you into an urban legend.”
“Huh?”
Su Yi said each word with sinister precision. “Slit. Mouthed. Woman.”
Bian Lu instinctively covered her mouth.
“Although… technically, this is your mouth.”
“Shut up!”
“Oh.”
Physically and mentally exhausted, Su Yi walked over to the sofa and sat down. Supporting her forehead with one hand, she waved the other. “Go fill the bathtub with water.”
As if Bian Lu were a servant.
Bian Lu secretly glanced at Su Yi. “Can I say one more thing?”
“No!”
Bian Lu immediately covered her mouth. She did not show any of the gloom or irritation of suddenly waking up in someone else’s body. Her whole face looked relaxed, even a little lighthearted, as she turned and went into the bathroom.
From the corner of her eye, Su Yi watched Bian Lu’s back, which somehow seemed happy too, and she truly felt like killing someone.
Why?
Why did Bian Lu get to be so happy while she had to suffer?
Why?
Su Yi thought of the backpack she had thrown by the entrance downstairs. It was Bian Lu’s backpack. Inside were Bian Lu’s wallet, keys, and phone.
She stomped downstairs, pulled out Bian Lu’s phone, unlocked it with her fingerprint, and with a few quick swipes, found the message that had been sent early that morning.
[Cen Cen: Where’s my breakfast? You woke up this early and didn’t even make breakfast. What use are you?!]
Cen Cen?
Cen Qingke?
Even using a cutesy doubled-up nickname. Disgusting.
Bian Lu’s patron, was it? Su Yi was Bian Lu now, and there was no way she was going to continue being kept by someone. So there was no need to feel guilty about what she was about to do. She was not invading Bian Lu’s privacy at all. She was preventing Bian Lu’s improper private life from affecting her.
With that thought, Su Yi typed out a line with a strange, satisfying sense of revenge.
[Little Lu: Isn’t it in the dog bowl? Can’t you eat it yourself? Do I have to pour it into your mouth for you too?]
“Su Yi?”
Her own voice suddenly sounded from behind her. It was practically a real-life ghost story, and Su Yi nearly threw the phone away in fright.
She was not guilty.
She was completely justified.
Su Yi turned around and looked down from above—
Why was Bian Lu so much shorter than her?!
Su Yi suddenly became even angrier. This angle did not match her usual imposing aura. She waved her hand, signaling for Bian Lu to squat.
“Mm? What does that mean?”
“I’m telling you to squat.”
“Oh.”
Bian Lu obediently squatted down. Only then did Su Yi finally feel barely satis—
Satisfied?
She looked at Bian Lu squatting on the floor while wearing her face.
Fine brows, beautiful eyes, vivid red lips, slightly curled long hair scattered over her shoulders. The bright red silk nightgown could not hide her deeply carved collarbones. Its hem gathered in the middle and fell between her legs onto the wood-grain floor. Her exposed calves were faintly tense, her toes round and pink. One knee touched the floor like a lustrous pearl shell, beautiful and indescribably tempting.
She looked exactly like an omega from some little film, kneeling without dignity and begging for an alpha’s affection.
Su Yi’s brow twitched.
“Get up!”
Even if Su Yi died, she would never put herself in such a posture!
Bian Lu blinked her thick lashes.
The one who told her to squat was Su Yi. The one who told her not to squat was also Su Yi.
She really was difficult to please.
“Don’t smile!”
“Sorry. Habit.”
“Don’t you know habits exist to be changed?”
“Oh.”
“You’re still smiling!”
“I’m not smiling anymore.”
Bian Lu stood up and watched Su Yi walk upstairs with a cold expression. She could not help secretly curling her lips again.
Although she still could not quite figure out what was going on, one thing was certain: she was now six years in the past, at the beginning of senior year. At this point, Su Yi did not hate her that much yet. She could still… mock her as if nothing had happened.
Bian Lu could not understand it.
Why did such a terrible life have to be lived all over again?
She actually did not want to be reborn at all. At the moment of death, she had not even felt sad. She had felt relieved.
Why had heaven let someone like her, someone who did not want to start over, be reborn?
How strange.
Would it not have been better to leave the chance to someone who truly had regrets?
“What are you standing there for? Come help!”
“Coming.”
She temporarily set aside the questions she could not figure out. Taking a few quick steps, she went upstairs and followed Su Yi into the bathroom.
Su Yi pointed at the bathtub full of water.
“See that tub of water?”
“I see it.”
Su Yi then pointed at herself.
“See me?”
“I see you.”
Su Yi nodded. “Do you understand?”
Bian Lu pressed her lips together, and two adorable little dimples formed at the corners of her mouth, like tiny commas.
After thinking hard, Bian Lu said, “Mm… I don’t understand.”
Su Yi took a deep breath. “Don’t press your lips together!”
“Oh.”
Irritated, Su Yi pointed at the bathtub again, then pointed at herself again.
“How can you not understand something this simple?!”
Did she really have to say it out loud?
She did not want to. It was too embarrassing!
Bian Lu could not help laughing. She absolutely was not laughing at Su Yi. She just thought it was funny.
“Can’t you just say what you want? It’s not like we’re close. How would I know what you’re thinking?”
They truly were not close.
Bian Lu had known Su Yi for an entire ten years. Su Yi had either been mocking her or on the way to mocking her. They had never seriously tried to understand each other. All they had left each other with were terrible memories.
Su Yi closed her eyes and suddenly felt that she was wasting time.
Was the most important thing right now not to find out why their souls had swapped and figure out how to change back as soon as possible?
Why was she standing here babbling over a shower?
Su Yi had to admit that ever since she had opened her eyes that morning and discovered she had become Bian Lu, her mind had been in a constant state of collapse. She had not been able to think calmly at all.
Su Yi took a deep breath and finally recovered a little of her usual state.
With her usual lofty arrogance, she said, “Come here. Help me take off my clothes. I’m taking a bath.”
