Dragging My Legitimate Elder Sister into the Bed - Chapter 7
“Hmm… Qianqian?”
The sound of insects chirping was piercing. The green grass swayed gently. A soft breeze brushed against her cheek, gentle yet sudden. Su Xi saw her own side hair swaying in her peripheral vision.
The white clouds that were clearly floating at the edge of the sky suddenly fell into her arms with a soft thump, smashing against her chest.
The body that threw itself into her arms was soft, carrying the delicate lightness of a young girl.
When they got closer, the sweet, faint peach wood scent that now belonged to Su Qian drilled into her nose.
Su Xi raised her hand and patted her back gently, just like when they were children.
The morning breeze gradually grew warmer. As her palm patted the girl’s spine, slender and refined, Su Xi suddenly realized that Su Qian had already grown as tall as her.
Standing together, outsiders might not be able to immediately tell they were sisters.
The arms wrapped around her waist were a little tight…
It had been a long time since they hugged like this. Their previous embraces were light and gentle, but this time, it felt somewhat different.
Tight and forceful, making it hard to advance or retreat — like imprisonment…
“Su Qian.”
The two simple words, short and light, made Su Qian irresistibly loosen her embrace. Her lips parted slightly, but the words that reached her mouth circled around without coming out.
“They bully you.”
Su Qian no longer clung in her arms.
She lifted her upper body slightly, her eyes looking straight into Su Xi’s. Her hands, however, still loosely encircled her.
Su Xi smiled softly. “Can they even bully me?”
She patted Su Qian’s head, took her hand, and walked toward their room. The faint smile on her lips still lingered.
“They’re nothing…”
Her voice was light and ethereal.
She had always been steady and composed, keeping everything under tight control so others couldn’t see clearly. But at this moment, with those soft words, her face — which had long been like falling snow — seemed to be brushed with a clear breeze, revealing her graceful charm and a hint of youthful spirit.
Her whole body was glowing with a faint light…
Countless thoughts churned in Su Qian’s chest as she quietly followed Su Xi back to the room.
Such childish words were only meant to comfort her.
But she was no longer a child.
When they reached the door of the room, Su Qian clearly felt Su Xi hesitate for a moment. She pretended nothing was wrong and waited while being led by the hand. Only then was the door pushed open.
“In a few more months, it will be the autumn imperial examination.”
Su Xi turned and took a stack of books from the bookshelf, slowly spreading them out on the table.
The contents of the books had been read by both of them many times. The stack was as high as a small mountain, covering a wide range of topics — it was already astonishing.
However, compared to the knowledge stored in their minds, these were merely a drop in the ocean.
The Su family, since the generation of their grandfather the Grand Academician, had been known as the “Capital’s Library Pavilion.”
The Su family’s collection was all-encompassing. Their ancestors had traveled the world, gathering, learning, and seeing everything, then fusing it all together. It was vast and comprehensive, rare in the world.
Every generation’s coming-of-age ceremony for the Su family involved traveling far to study and expand, strengthen, and develop the family library.
When Su Xi and Su Qian’s parents had their accident, the family wanted to move away entirely, but because of this irremovable library, they could only remain rooted here.
Unfortunately, this tradition had been abandoned since Su Yihuan’s time.
Su Xi flipped through the books on the table that had been read countless times. Word by word and sentence by sentence, she discussed and analyzed with Su Qian how to set questions, approaches to solving them, how to win with originality, when to stop at the right moment, and how to leave appropriate blank space.
This included the possible chief examiners, their ways of thinking, their habits in writing…
They went through everything in detail, marking and noting. By the time they finished flipping through the books, the sky had turned completely dark.
Lunch and dinner were both eaten hastily. From last night until now, both her brain and body had been working nonstop. Su Xi felt as if needles were pricking her head.
The green lamp was as small as a bean. The graceful, green-bamboo-like figure leaned on her elbow at the table, dozing. The dim yellow light cast a small shadow on her face.
A thread of warmth spread beside her, soft and enveloping. Su Xi glanced sideways, then tilted her body and leaned into Su Qian’s arms.
Su Qian sat close to her, turned sideways, and hugged her.
She nuzzled the top of her smooth hair. On her small, delicate face, her amber eyes reflected the flickering, broken candlelight and a light-colored, lingering figure.
The person in her arms wore a green long jacket embroidered with bamboo, with faint silver patterns of clouds emerging from the mountains. A moon-white chest binder was full and round, the waist belt lightly outlining her figure. The soft skirt pooled on the ground in a thousand pleats, like flowing moonlight.
There was no sign of her waking up. Her light sleep had turned into deep slumber.
Su Qian leaned over, picked her up — light as a feather.
The shadows inside the bed curtains deepened. After a soft sound, the figure shortened into a shallow curve.
Su Qian knelt halfway by the bed, reached out and grabbed one foot, gently removing the silk sock. Looking up, she saw the thin waist belt. She gave it a light tug. The clothes fell open, and the chest binder loosened.
The person in her sleep unconsciously turned over. Her slightly bent neck was delicate as snow, one fragrant shoulder half-exposed. Her collarbone was slender, straight like green bamboo, forming a gentle arc.
A faint pheromone scent drifted out. Su Qian lay down by the bed and sniffed lightly. One inhale through her nose filled her with the flowing fragrance between chest and waist.
With one reach, she brushed away the soft cloth hanging on the shoulder. The fabric slid down, revealing half a mound of soft snow and a hint of red cherry.
Full and plump, rising and falling slowly, quivering delicately.
Inside the room, pheromone incense was quietly stirred up — peach sweet and fragrant, ancient wood simple and faint, green bamboo serene and peaceful. The wind rustled, intertwining and resting.
Chaotic images surged in her mind: the softness pressing down on that heat, every light yet extreme rub, intertwined breaths, the cool moistness that was thirsted for, and that final moment of ecstasy when she captured a bit of slippery soft tip, only for it to slip away inch by inch from her tongue.
Su Qian held her breath, pulled the quilt over, and covered the last traces of lingering erotic thoughts.
A faint red blush spread across her small, delicate face, charming and seductive.
Yet her amber eyes remained shallow, making people subconsciously overlook the small head poking up under her inner skirt.
The door closed, cutting off the faint fragrance.
Inside the room, the beauty slept deeply. Sweat was forced out all over her body by the floating pheromones. Her thin clothes were disheveled and piled between the bedding. Only when the intertwined scent finally dissipated did she calm down.
