The drug’s effects gradually faded with time.

Before Han Shu could continue scolding her, Bai Jingbing immediately ended the call.

“How many times have I told you not to call me Zhuzhu like my father and brothers do?” Han Shu snapped. “Also, it’s a waste that you never became a lawyer. I would never make such an amateur mistake. I already asked the bouncer. She looks extremely young, so he checked her ID. She’s nineteen.”

When Han Shu was born, her father’s handwriting had been so messy that the hospital staff misread her intended name and registered her as Han Zhu.

After discovering the mistake, her father originally wanted to leave the name unchanged. He claimed she was the Han family’s only precious little pearl.

Fortunately, her grandfather consulted her fortune and learned that the character Zhu, meaning “pearl,” was unsuitable for her. Her name was subsequently corrected to Han Shu.

“She’s only nineteen. Leave her alone and stop defiling the flowers of the motherland.”

Bai Jingbing shot her a sideways glance.
