A Villainous Childhood Sweetheart At Four And A Half
Synopsis
From an overworked corporate drone with a miserable life to a child born into one of the wealthiest and most prestigious families, Pei Hanying enjoyed four and a half years of smooth sailing.
It wasn’t until new neighbors moved in and she personally witnessed a beautiful girl with curly hair and green eyes, as lovely as a doll, being subjected to every conceivable form of abuse by her father that Pei Hanying belatedly realized she seemed to have transmigrated into a novel she had read.
The doll-like girl before her was none other than the antisocial supervillain who nearly destroyed the world twenty years later.
Meeting those jade-green feline eyes, Pei Hanying blinked, then slipped away.
Life was short. She should enjoy it while she could.
She was only a minor passerby mentioned in a single sentence of the novel. There was nothing she could change, Pei Hanying consoled herself.
But every time she ran into Ning Song, the girl was covered in injuries and always wore ill-fitting clothes. Although she was a year older, she was so thin she looked like a tiny kitten.
Then one day, during a heavy snowstorm, Pei Hanying found Ning Song locked outside the villa, her cheeks bright red from the cold. In the end, her heart softened.
“Kitty, would you like to come over to my house?”
Once she gave in to that moment of compassion, Pei Hanying could never again stand idly by when Ning Song was bullied. She imperiously claimed Ning Song as one of her own and took her under her protection.
From then on, Pei Hanying had a curly-haired, green-eyed cat at her side.
The little cat was beautiful and obedient. She went to and from school with Pei Hanying every day, helped her eat the things she disliked, and was unbearably adorable even when she only spoke the occasional sentence.
How was this a supervillain?!!!
This was clearly the best-behaved Ning Song in the entire world.
But Pei Hanying failed to notice that Ning Song’s gaze upon her was growing increasingly clinging and dark.
Those jade-green eyes brimmed with possessiveness.
-
Later, Ning Song became powerful in her own right and rose to prominence among Beijing’s elite, tearing her scumbag father apart and trampling the original novel’s male and female leads underfoot.
Before Pei Hanying could celebrate for long, Ning Song misunderstood an innocent interaction between her and a friend.
That night, Ning Song embraced Pei Hanying, winding her soft arms tightly around her, fastening a golden chain around her ankle, and treating her as her personal possession.
From then on, Pei Hanying not only had to kiss and hug Ning Song every day, but also satisfy her pathological possessiveness.
With tears in her eyes, she wondered when she had raised the villain wrong again.
She didn’t want to become this woman’s plaything!
After trying every possible way to please Ning Song, Pei Hanying finally got her to lower her guard. The moment Ning Song relaxed, Pei Hanying decisively fled, booking a flight abroad that very night.
Ten minutes before boarding, a chill ran down her back as the crisp click of a woman’s high heels rang out behind her.
Ning Song’s arms climbed around Pei Hanying’s neck like nimble snakes.
Her lips pressed against the back of Pei Hanying’s neck. Her breath was sweet as orchids, her voice lilting.
“Yingying, if you dare run off again, I’ll break your legs.”
Later, it was also Ning Song who personally handed Pei Hanying the other end of the collar around her own neck and murmured softly:
“Please tame me, Yingying.”
“I’ll be good.”
.....
