A L*st at First Sight (Lily Futa) - Chapter 4
Ever since she got Yu Qianlin’s contact information, Liu Yuelan would harass her online from time to time. She always started with serious matters, and once Yu Qianlin replied earnestly, it would turn into flirting. Yu Qianlin had gone from being completely defenseless at the beginning to simply ignoring her.
Just ignore her. Her service spirit was limited to professional questions only.
: Ah Yu, which parts of my car need maintenance?
It had been half a month since she last saw the other woman. Liu Yuelan felt restless inside. Imagining her helplessness through text was far less satisfying than seeing it with her own eyes.
Yu Qianlin had just spent several hours with her colleagues finally locating the root problem of a certain car and managed to fix it. She came out wiping the sweat from her face with her sleeve, rolled her shoulders a few times, recorded everything in the front desk logbook, and then went to the changing room. Only then did she have time to take out her phone.
After seeing the message, Yu Qianlin frowned helplessly, especially at the way the other woman addressed her. She scrolled up to look at the previous chat history.
–What do all these symbols on the dashboard mean?
: [long explanation]
–Oh
–How should I address you? Qianlin? Linlin?
: Store Manager
–I’m not your employee, no
: Miss Yu
–How about I call you Sister Lin like everyone else? But how old are you? What year were you born?
: 1992
–Me too! What a coincidence. Which month?
: November
–I’m February 14th. Quick, call me Sister!
–Then I can’t call you Sister Lin anymore. Hmm… How about I call you Ah Yu? Little Ah Yu? Hahaha
: No
–It’s decided then. What are you going to call me? Ah Yu
–Ah Yu? Little Ah Yu? Why aren’t you replying?
—Ah Yuyu, speak up. Did you fall asleep?
–I’m going to complain about you
–Unless you come coax me in my dreams tonight
–Good night, Ah Yu [rose]
Yu Qianlin rubbed her eyes, scrolled to the bottom of the chat, replied with two simple words, put her phone away, changed her clothes, and got off work.
Liu Yuelan saw the message right as she got home and hadn’t even gotten out of the car yet.
: No
“No,” Liu Yuelan read the dry two words aloud. “Hmph, I knew there wasn’t.”
She sat in the car and looked around. Finding nothing unusual, she got out and walked around once. At the taillight, she spotted a scratch — very thin, but about 10 centimeters long and quite noticeable. She didn’t know what it had rubbed against. She took a photo and sent it to Yu Qianlin.
: It looks too ugly. I need it repainted.
: Contact Xiao Li to make an appointment. We need to check if the shop has the specified brand in stock. If not, it will need to be ordered.
Yu Qianlin took off her jacket and sat on the bench. After a long time with no reply, she wondered why the other woman had let her off so easily this time. She shook her head, stopped thinking about it, put her phone in the cabinet, grabbed her clothes, and went to shower.
When she came out again, she had changed into her own clothes. She blow-dried her hair until it was just no longer dripping, put on her shoes, and walked out while checking her phone. As soon as she opened it, she saw several messages from Liu Yuelan. She took a deep breath before clicking on them.
: Xiao Li said you have it. I’ll come over tomorrow.
: Are you going to a meeting tomorrow? Then what about my car?
: Just thinking about the scratch on the rear of the car makes me uncomfortable. It has to be fixed as soon as possible.
: Can a member ask you to work overtime?
: Do you have anything to do after you get home?
: I’m heading out now. I’ll bring you dinner. Don’t leave! Wait for me, Ah Yu.
Yu Qianlin leaned against the wall with a headache. She typed and deleted words in the chat box several times but ultimately couldn’t send anything.
When Xiao Li came over, she saw her leaning against the wall in the corridor, even banging the back of her head against it. “Sister Lin, what’s wrong?”
She had never seen the other woman look so anxious and distressed before. In the eyes of the employees, Yu Qianlin had always been calm, strategic, mature, and confident. Seeing her like this now, something must have happened.
She thought of many terrible possibilities and nervously leaned closer, asking softly, “Did something happen at the shop?”
Yu Qianlin immediately returned to normal the moment she saw her. Hearing the question, she shook her head. “It’s nothing. I just had a slight headache earlier.”
“Ah, if you’re not feeling well, you should go to the hospital. You work so hard — you need to take care of your health too.”
“Mm. I’m heading out first. You should get off work early too.”
She had only taken two steps when Xiao Li called out to her, patting her forehead as she walked over. “Look at my memory. I came to discuss something with you. Miss Liu needs her car paint touched up and wants your help. She said she’ll be here soon. Would you mind waiting for her a bit?”
“Who’s on night duty tonight?”
Xiao Li understood what she meant and said awkwardly, “Sister Lin, Miss Liu is our Diamond Member. We did promise at the time to prioritize her requests. The photo she sent doesn’t look like a big job — it won’t take long. How about you…”
Xiao Li hinted tactfully, “Miss Liu isn’t an ordinary person. You can tell from her clothes, demeanor, and way of speaking. You can search her up online. She definitely has many high-quality potential clients. If she introduces even a few, we won’t have to worry about our KPI for the next six months.”
Yu Qianlin put her phone in her pants pocket. “Got it. I’ll wait for a while.”
“Great! Then I’ll let her know. Sister Lin, thank you for your hard work!”
“It’s fine. I’ll go to the office first.”
“Okay!”
Meanwhile, Liu Yuelan had just gotten into the car with the packed dinner when she received Xiao Li’s reply. The corners of her mouth lifted. She started the car and hurried toward the shop.
Only after everyone else at the shop had left did Yu Qianlin come out of the office to wait in the rest area. Through the glass window, she saw a familiar car approaching. She stood up and went outside.
At this hour, only a sliver of sunset remained. Liu Yuelan parked the car, opened the door, and elegantly stepped out. With her back to the setting sun, her entire body was bathed in a soft glow.
Today she was wearing a half-sleeve floral chiffon dress with two buttons undone at the top and a blue-and-white silk scarf tied around her neck. She looked up at Yu Qianlin standing at the top of the steps, smiled, and waved. “Long time no see, Ah Yu.”
Yu Qianlin’s heart skipped several beats. She had grown used to the nickname on the phone screen, but hearing it come from the woman’s mouth felt completely different — soft and tingling. She licked her dry lips, lowered her head, walked over to the scratch, and squatted down to inspect it.
It took Liu Yuelan a moment to realize what was different about her today. She wasn’t wearing her work uniform — just a simple loose white T-shirt, blue jeans, and a pair of ordinary canvas shoes. Even so, it made Liu Yuelan’s eyes light up. This was a different Yu Qianlin — clean and clear.
Liu Yuelan bit her lip and followed her. “Have you eaten?”
Yu Qianlin touched the scratched area. It wasn’t serious — only the surface had been scratched. A quick polish would fix it; there was no need for repainting. It was a tiny flaw that could be completely ignored.
She stood up and patted her hands. “It’s not serious. It’ll be done quickly. Go wait inside the shop.” With that, she turned to get her tools.
Liu Yuelan grabbed her arm. Yu Qianlin quickly shook it off. “What’s the rush? I haven’t eaten yet. I bought some food on the way. Let’s eat first, then you can work.”
Yu Qianlin frowned, her gaze shifting uneasily. “I’m not eating.”
Liu Yuelan moved closer to her. “Are you going to eat or not? If you don’t, I’ll have to take action.”
Yu Qianlin’s eyes were full of disdain. She glanced at Liu Yuelan’s slender arms, thinking she could handle her with just one hand.
Seeing her stand there motionless with an impenetrable expression, Liu Yuelan smiled mischievously and suddenly reached out to hug her waist. “You forced me to do this, Ah Yu.”
Yu Qianlin shuddered all over, goosebumps rising. Even though the person in her arms was warm, soft, and fragrant, she treated her like a ferocious beast. She tensed up and reprimanded in a low voice, “Let go!”
As she spoke, she tried to pull away the hands around her waist, but the moment her fingers touched the slender, smooth skin of the wrist, she immediately withdrew her hand. Thinking of something even more serious, her face darkened further and she slightly arched her body. But this posture only brought her upper body closer to the woman’s face. Looking at Liu Yuelan’s mischievous smile right in front of her, she felt even more at a loss, her brows tightly furrowed.
Liu Yuelan saw that her face was flushed — whether from anger or embarrassment, she wasn’t sure — and her earlobes were bright red. Seeing such a strong reaction, she found it both surprising and interesting. “Let’s eat together.”
“Mm… Let go first.”
Seeing Yu Qianlin agree without hesitation, Liu Yuelan let go of her in satisfaction. Just as she was about to say something, the other woman strode toward the shop.
“Hey! Bring the food inside!”
Yu Qianlin’s steps paused. After calming down for a moment, she turned back and took the food from the passenger seat.
“Ah Yu is so obedient. I’ll reward you with a chicken drumstick later.”
Yu Qianlin carried both bags with both hands and slammed the car door shut heavily.
Liu Yuelan watched her sulky back, laughed enough outside, and only then went inside. Once inside, she saw the bags placed on the table in the rest area. Yu Qianlin was standing in front of the fridge, drinking a bottle of water.
Liu Yuelan decided not to tease her anymore. She took out all the food herself, arranged it nicely, and called her over.
Yu Qianlin sat across from her, hands on her knees, head lowered, looking unwilling. The more Liu Yuelan looked at her like this, the happier she became. She put a spoon in the porridge in front of her and used chopsticks to pick up a chicken drumstick, placing it on the lid beside her. “Here, the promised reward.”
Yu Qianlin’s hands on her knees clenched tightly, her lips pressed into a thin line.
Liu Yuelan ate leisurely on the side. After a few minutes, seeing that she still hadn’t moved, she said, “If you don’t finish eating, don’t even think about working.”
After waiting a little longer, the person opposite finally picked up the spoon and quickly stirred the porridge in front of her. Liu Yuelan smiled and picked up a soup dumpling for her.
Yu Qianlin swallowed the dumpling in one bite, touched the side of the bowl to check the temperature of the porridge, then drank the entire bowl in one go. Finally, she picked up the chicken drumstick with her hands and finished it in a few bites. She raised her arm to wipe the sweat from her forehead, stood up, grabbed a paper towel, and under Liu Yuelan’s dumbfounded gaze, headed to the repair bay at the back.
Liu Yuelan looked at the empty bowl across from her, then at the more than half bowl of porridge still left in her own. She suddenly felt full. She watched gloomily as Yu Qianlin put on gloves, took the toolbox, and went outside. She then walked around the lobby, connected an extension cord, and pulled it outside. Soon after, the machine started working.
Liu Yuelan bit into a soup dumpling in frustration, got burned by the hot soup, quickly took it out, stuck out her tongue, and fanned it with her hand. How could anyone swallow something this hot in one bite?! She glanced outside, but Yu Qianlin was blocked by the car and couldn’t be seen.
Hmph.
While inwardly cursing her, Liu Yuelan slowly finished eating. After she was full, there were still some dumplings and braised meat left. She packed the unfinished food into one box, covered it, and cleaned the table. Only then did she realize the noise outside had stopped long ago. She ran out to take a look — the person was already gone, everything was cleaned up neatly, and the scratch had been repaired so well that it was impossible to see.
How fast did this person work?!
She walked into the repair area but didn’t see Yu Qianlin. Just as she was about to call out, she noticed a small room with lights on in the middle row of bays. She walked over and saw the sign on the door that read “Storage Room.” She poked her head in and saw rows of shelves. Once inside, she spotted a figure in the corner.
The other person seemed to be seriously searching for something. Liu Yuelan’s eyes brightened. She lightened her steps and slowly approached. She placed both hands on either side of the table, pressed her upper body against Yu Qianlin’s back, and softly asked beside her ear, “Ah Yu, what are you doing?”
Yu Qianlin’s entire body stiffened. She didn’t dare move, afraid of touching her. She put down the dirty part in her hand, lowered her eyes, and said in a low voice, “Get up.”
Liu Yuelan rested her chin on her shoulder. Hearing this, she turned her head to look at her, eyes curved in a smile. “You can push me away.”
Yu Qianlin tried to push her back, but the moment she moved, her back felt two soft mounds. Her body froze and she pressed tighter against the table. Gritting her teeth, she turned around, intending to push her away with her hands, but realized her gloves were covered in oil and grease. The woman in front of her had fair, flawless arms. If she touched her, it would definitely leave marks. A clear, obvious mark…
Liu Yuelan watched as Yu Qianlin stared at her arm for a long time, her throat moving slightly. She leaned closer and said teasingly, “What are you thinking about, hm?”
Liu Yuelan’s index finger gently stroked Yu Qianlin’s neck, feeling her swallow. Her body softened a little as she pressed her lower body against her and whispered very softly, as if sharing a secret, “Ah Yu, you’re sweating so much…”
Yu Qianlin watched as the woman in front of her untied her silk scarf, smiling as she wiped her sweat — first her forehead, then the tip of her nose, then her neck, and then lower…
She suddenly snapped awake and pushed Liu Yuelan away with her wrist. This terrifying vixen!
Liu Yuelan staggered but steadied herself. She said unhurriedly, “What’s wrong, Ah Yu?”
“Don’t touch me,” Yu Qianlin spoke and only then realized how hoarse her voice had become. She forced herself to calm down and said in a cold tone, “I don’t like this.”
Liu Yuelan’s smile faded a little. She twirled the silk scarf and stared into her eyes, trying to see even the slightest hint of reluctance mixed with desire. This time, Yu Qianlin didn’t avoid her gaze. Instead, she looked straight back at her with determination.
The smile on Liu Yuelan’s face slowly disappeared. “I understand.” This time it was her turn to lower her head awkwardly and avoid the other woman’s eyes. But after only a few seconds, she stared at the space between Yu Qianlin’s legs and said in surprise, “So you…”
Yu Qianlin was stunned. She followed her gaze and looked down. A small tent had risen in her crotch. She instantly broke out in a cold sweat. She crossed her hands to block it from view, her lips turning pale, feeling as if the sky was about to collapse.
When she wore work pants, they were loose, so occasional arousal in front of her wasn’t too obvious. But today, in a hurry to send her away, she hadn’t changed into her work uniform. The jeans were already tight-fitting, and after being stimulated so intensely by the woman today, it was now especially noticeable.
Yu Qianlin’s mind went blank. She had no idea how to explain. Her lips began to tremble.
At that moment, Liu Yuelan’s light and cheerful voice rang out, “So you like playing like this, Ah Yu. You’re so open about it?”
Yu Qianlin looked up in confusion. Liu Yuelan saw that her eyes seemed a little moist and took two steps toward her. “Masturbating isn’t anything shameful, Ah Yu. You don’t need to feel embarrassed. It’s just… wearing something so obvious in the future, you should put on looser pants. Otherwise it’s really noticeable.”
After hearing Liu Yuelan’s gentle encouragement and kind advice, Yu Qianlin’s mind went blank again.
Liu Yuelan pulled her hands apart and looked for a while. “It wasn’t this obvious when I first arrived. Did you put it on later?” Liu Yuelan raised an eyebrow at her. “What? Got so horny after seeing me that you couldn’t control it?”
Yu Qianlin’s consciousness returned. She glared at her fiercely. “Shut up.”
Liu Yuelan was in an exceptionally good mood. No matter what Yu Qianlin said, she took it as embarrassment and anger. She knew the other woman needed time to digest the embarrassment of being caught with a hard-on, so she didn’t plan to push her too hard.
Liu Yuelan looked into her eyes, took the silk scarf, gently kissed it, her eyes seductive and charming. Satisfied at seeing the other woman’s dazed expression, she walked over, pressed herself against her, and placed the spot she had just kissed against her lips. With a smile at the corner of her mouth, she forcefully stuffed the silk scarf into her mouth with her fingers.
“It’s a gift for you, Ah Yu. When you miss me, you can use it for anything you want.”
