Transmigrated as the Cannon Fodder Marked by the Villain (GL) - Chapter 40
Zhou Wan was about to pull her hand back, but the other person withdrew their hand even faster. She looked up and saw that the person was Lin Lesheng, whom she hadn’t seen in a long time.
“You go first.”
Zhou Wan felt inexplicably awkward. She ladled two bowls of soup and walked away. Lin Lesheng stood behind her, glanced at her, and then looked away.
“Is that Omega your friend?”
Xie Taotao followed Lin Lesheng’s gaze and asked curiously.
“Mhm.”
Xie Taotao was a very observant Alpha. Judging by Lin Lesheng’s current expression, she immediately guessed that something unpleasant must have happened between the two of them.
“Your soup spilled.”
She reminded her kindly.
“Why are you so distracted? The soup spilled onto your clothes.”
Xie Taotao handed her a tissue for Lin Lesheng to wipe her jacket: “You look like you didn’t sleep well. What happened?”
“I’m fine.”
Seeing the unusually enthusiastic Xie Taotao, Lin Lesheng hooked her arm into the other person’s shoulder while holding the soup bowl: “There are actually ribs in your bowl, but I only got winter melon.”
“You’re just silly. Next time, when you ladle the soup, scoop from the bottom up. You’ll get an unexpected surprise.”
“I get it, I get it. I’ll try your method next time.”
Zhou Wan didn’t usually drink the regular soup from the cafeteria, but today, seeing Zhou Wan ladling soup, Lin Lesheng instinctively followed suit.
The other person didn’t seem to want to talk to her. Lin Lesheng, feeling snubbed, retreated to the side to watch Zhou Wan ladle the soup.
Her seat allowed her to see Zhou Wan and Zhang Xiaolan not far away, though Zhou Wan had her back to her. Zhang Xiaolan’s gaze happened to fall on her, and Lin Lesheng waved her hand, unsure if the person saw her.
“Lanlan, I’m done eating.”
Zhou Wan ate quite quickly, but she was still slower than Zhang Xiaolan, who had already finished and was playing on her phone.
“Let’s go. We still have a PowerPoint presentation to do when we get back.”
The mention of the PowerPoint was Zhou Wan’s nightmare. She hated PowerPoint presentations the most.
“Sigh, luckily Yanyan has already completed part of it. Otherwise, we’d be exhausted.”
Since Li Yanwei was expelled, only the two of them were left in the dorm, and no one else had moved in. Zhou Wan found it quite peaceful with just the two of them. If someone with a personality similar to Li Yanwei moved in, their nightmare would start all over again.
“Want some fruit? I’m going to buy a box of cherry tomatoes.”
“Sure, I’ll buy a box of kiwis.”
Zhou Wan picked a box of cherry tomatoes. While queuing to pay, someone pushed her from behind. She turned around strangely and saw a shy, tall boy standing behind her. Several people behind him were shoving him. If Zhou Wan guessed correctly, it wasn’t the boy who pushed her, but the people behind him.
“I’m sorry, Zhou Wan.”
“Lin Songyang, what are you guys doing?”
Zhang Xiaolan immediately looked hostile when she saw the campus heartthrob from the Architecture Department. After Zhou Wan paid, she grabbed her hand and pulled her outside.
Lin Lesheng wasn’t around. She needed to protect Zhou Wan from all angles, in case Lin Songyang had any ill intentions toward her.
“This Lin Songyang is so annoying! He keeps running over to find you. Today, he even dared to push you.”
Zhang Xiaolan became angrier the more she thought about it. In her mind, these Alphas were no good. Lin Lesheng was a hundred or even a thousand times better than Lin Songyang.
Zhou Wan had indeed been pursued by Lin Songyang for a while. The boy had no opinion of his own and was almost entirely led by his roommates. With his mediocre confessions and pick-up lines, Zhou Wan could tell from his pale face that he was emotionally inexperienced.
She had clearly rejected Lin Songyang, and he had promised her he wouldn’t pursue her like before. Zhou Wan suspected his roommates must have incited him.
“Lanlan, let’s go. I’ve already told Lin Songyang that this has nothing to do with him.”
“Alright, alright. I hope he won’t do this again.”
Lin Lesheng was not a stalker. She couldn’t understand why she kept running into Zhou Wan repeatedly, and she wasn’t actively trying to do so. Was this fate deciding things for itself?
Lin Lesheng finally saw the campus heartthrob from the Architecture Department. She observed the “blade of grass’s” appearance: a completely frail, effeminate boy. He dared to pursue Zhou Wan with those looks! Who gave him the courage?
“Hey, wasn’t that…”
Xie Taotao was about to gossip, but Lin Lesheng blocked her mouth with the ice cream cone in her hand: “Eat your ice cream and stop asking questions.”
“Oh, got it.”
“You haven’t fallen for Zhou Wan, have you?”
Xie Taotao revealed the truth in one sentence.
“How do you know!”
Lin Lesheng looked at Xie Taotao in shock: “How do you know her name is Zhou Wan?”
“Of course, I know. Her photo is on the scholarship notice every semester. Even though we’re not in the same major, I always admire her when I see it.”
Lin Lesheng lowered her head and sighed after hearing what Xie Taotao said. She no longer had the appetite to eat the ice cream in her hand.
Zhou Wan was so outstanding, and she was merely coasting to graduation. They were on different paths. How could Zhou Wan possibly like someone so unmotivated like her?
The moment Ruan Jiyan returned home, she eagerly lunged at Fu Qingyun. She couldn’t understand why she had become like this, like a hungry tiger, especially when she saw Fu Qingyun’s long black hair.
“What’s wrong, Ruan Bao?”
Fu Qingyun smiled slightly, lifted her vertically, holding her by her soft buttocks, and gently tossed Ruan Jiyan onto the sofa.
“I want you.”
Ruan Jiyan’s answer was both direct and full of unconcealed desire.
Fu Qingyun smiled faintly. She ran her hand through her black hair. It carried a faint woody fragrance. She guessed Ruan Jiyan’s reaction was probably due to her sudden change in appearance, which had fueled her interest.
Fu Qingyun was a feast for the eyes today. Ruan Jiyan had been tempted the moment she first saw her. She truly couldn’t resist this temptation.
Rumors circulated that many Omegas would feel weak-kneed and unable to walk when they saw Fu Qingyun. Ruan Jiyan initially dismissed this as nonsense, but now she believed it.
Her own legs were indeed weak, and Fu Qingyun’s flirting made her entire heart flutter.
“How do you want me to proceed?”
Ruan Jiyan stared directly at her, extending her arm to hook Fu Qingyun’s slender neck. She sealed her lips with a kiss that lingered for a long time.
The implication was clear. Fu Qingyun bit her lip in silent consent. She massaged Ruan Jiyan’s slender waist and smiled: “I’m afraid you won’t be able to handle it. If you run away at the last minute, I won’t forgive you, Ruan Bao.”
Ruan Jiyan rubbed her cheek against Fu Qingyun’s: “Sister, bring it on.”
“Oh really? Don’t beg me when you’re crying.”
As a superior Alpha, Fu Qingyun’s stamina far exceeded that of an ordinary person. Naturally, she held the advantage during such activities.
“I will never beg you.”
The truth came quickly. Midway through, Ruan Jiyan couldn’t take it anymore and kicked Fu Qingyun away with all her strength, but she was ultimately grabbed by the ankle and pulled back.
“Run, where are you going? Didn’t you tell me to bring it on?”
Fu Qingyun’s soft hair fell around Ruan Jiyan’s ears, blending with her own damp black hair. It was impossible to tell whose was whose.
“Sister, I was wrong. Please.”
Her attitude of admitting her mistake was decent, but unfortunately, Fu Qingyun wasn’t easily appeased. She shook her head, then pulled out a roll of pink tape from nowhere and placed it in front of Ruan Jiyan.
It was strawberry scented, too.
“Sister, what are you trying to do…”
Fu Qingyun took out scissors and tested the tape, assessing its strength.
Mhm, it was indeed strong. An ordinary person wouldn’t be able to break free.
Ruan Jiyan lay weakly on the spacious sofa, with an oval rabbit pillow tucked behind her lower back. Fu Qingyun leaned over, detached the furry tail of the pillow, and rubbed it against Ruan Jiyan’s nose.
Fu Qingyun answered truthfully: “Nothing. Just opening a roll of tape.”
Ruan Jiyan watched Fu Qingyun’s actions with wide eyes. Fu Qingyun then took her wrists, touched them with her lips, and the next second, she tore the tape and tightly bound Ruan Jiyan’s two slender, soft wrists, wrapping it around them repeatedly in front of her.
“Sis… Sister…”
Ruan Jiyan was stuttering, a rare occurrence. She already knew what Fu Qingyun was about to do to her and felt a hint of anticipation rising in her heart.
They didn’t usually engage in very risky play. At most, Fu Qingyun would use a small toy on her, and even that was enough to make her surrender.
In this situation, Ruan Jiyan was securely bound, and Fu Qingyun, like a maniac, pushed the chair she was sitting on toward the dining table.
Fu Qingyun lit the candles on the dining table. Under Ruan Jiyan’s curious gaze, she opened a bottle of 1982 Lafite and slowly poured half a glass of red wine.
The rich wine aroma was intoxicating, the scent of Fu Qingyun’s pheromones. But she didn’t want to use pheromones to stimulate her today.
“Ruan Bao.”
Fu Qingyun knelt in front of Ruan Jiyan and offered the stemmed glass to her lips: “Shall we not use pheromones today?”
“Okay.”
Ruan Jiyan, still instinctively agreeing, watched Fu Qingyun hold the glass containing half a glass of red wine. Fu Qingyun held it without drinking, and Ruan Jiyan wondered what trick she was up to now.
The next second, she felt a chill on her body. The bright red, expensive red wine dripped onto her lower abdomen, running down her body.
