The Cold Alpha's Black Lotus O Strategy Plan (GL) - Chapter 28
“President Lü.”
Qin Ming stood in a white coat with both hands in her pockets, looking at Lü Zhongcai.
Lü Zhongcai had just left the operating room after the metal rods in her leg were removed.
“You did not accept my recommendation to attend treatment once every two weeks.”
Lü Zhongcai sat in her wheelchair. The leg that had just undergone surgery would still need approximately one week of recovery before she could use crutches.
“There is no need,” Lü Zhongcai said. “At present, I am still relatively normal.”
“Your system has not caused you any problems?” Qin Ming asked.
052 sneered inside Lü Zhongcai’s mind.
“We get along exceptionally well, thank you very much, you vicious woman who is constantly trying to kill me.”
“If you discover an effective way to resolve it, please notify me,” Lü Zhongcai said.
052: “Huh?”
“Merging your two personalities requires your cooperation,” Qin Ming said. “At present, treatment once every two weeks is the most effective method.”
Lü Zhongcai stopped her wheelchair briefly.
After thinking for a moment, she frowned.
“I am busy with work. Besides, it is temporarily still useful.”
Qin Ming made a confused sound.
She watched Lü Zhongcai propel her wheelchair out of the hospital lobby and muttered, “What use could it possibly have? Does it help you work or trade stocks?”
052 said, “You actually want to eliminate me? President Lü, I have worked conscientiously, diligently, and honestly, and yet you want to destroy me?”
Lü Zhongcai said nothing and guided her wheelchair down the ramp.
Chen Han was waiting outside the car with an ingratiating smile. Beside him stood an unwilling and embarrassed-looking Chen Gang.
“President Lü…”
The driver hurried over and opened the car door.
Lü Zhongcai glanced sideways. Her expression was stern and allowed no refusal.
She bent one finger and tapped her watch in Chen Han’s direction before getting into the car.
Chen Han: “…”
“President Lü!”
The driver bowed apologetically to Chen Han, closed the door, hurried around the front of the vehicle, and drove away.
“Damn it!”
Chen Han turned and slapped Chen Gang hard across the face.
“Who are you showing that sour expression to?”
Chen Gang held his cheek, his jaw tightly clenched.
He spat a mouthful of bloody saliva onto the ground.
“I’ll think of something…”
“What the hell can you possibly do?”
“Stop making the situation worse!”
“The only thing you need to do over the next few days is find a way to obtain Student Jin’s forgiveness.”
“I’ll handle President Lü,” Chen Han said.
Chen Gang nodded.
“Fine. I understand.”
—
“How long until the trial?”
Xiaobai leaned closer, while she and Zhu Wanqing squeezed Jin Sique between them from either side.
Zhu Wanqing was looking down at the campus forum.
Hearing the question, she glanced at Jin Sique and whispered, “Two more days, right?”
Jin Sique: “…”
Holding her meal tray, Jin Sique smiled helplessly.
“Ladies, could you give me a little room? It’s too crowded.”
Xiaobai and Zhu Wanqing immediately moved outward and picked up their chopsticks to eat.
A University’s cafeteria was filled with noise.
Although they had selected a relatively secluded table, many gazes were still directed toward them.
“Hey, look at this, Sique.”
Zhu Wanqing pushed her phone toward Jin Sique.
“Quick, look. Word about the trial has already spread.”
“You’re incredible. You sued Chen Gang, your roommate, and even the academy.”
Jin Sique lowered her gaze and glanced across Zhu Wanqing’s screen.
The discussions on the forum had undergone a complete transformation compared with one week earlier.
The other students were no longer unanimously condemning and insulting Jin Sique.
Because she had continued behaving normally, they were gradually beginning to believe that an innocent person had nothing to fear.
Of course, even more people had chosen to wait and observe.
Some sharp-eyed users had also noticed that Jin Sique was suing her roommate Fang Xiaohe.
They had begun investigating Fang Xiaohe.
Where there was smoke, there had to be fire, and rumors had already begun growing in the darkness.
“Fang Xiaohe hasn’t attended the university for several days,” Xiaobai said angrily.
“Although I had already prepared myself mentally, discovering that she truly is this kind of person still makes me…”
“Tsk.”
Zhu Wanqing sighed and put away her phone.
After they finished lunch, the three returned their bowls and chopsticks to the collection area.
The moment they left the cafeteria, they encountered a familiar figure.
“That’s Chen Gang,” Xiaobai whispered. “He isn’t here to cause trouble, is he?”
Zhu Wanqing grabbed Jin Sique’s wrist and tried to hide her behind them.
Among the three, Jin Sique appeared to be the most delicate Omega.
Her face looked soft and easy to bully, and the corners of her lips curved faintly upward.
Yet her eyes remained cold and utterly without warmth.
Remembering Fang Xiaohe’s words, Chen Gang sneered inwardly.
Outwardly, however, he adopted a humble attitude.
“There are so many people watching in the cafeteria. You can relax.”
Jin Sique curved her lips and said nothing.
She raised her head and looked at Chen Gang, silently forming two words with her mouth.
Kneel down.
Chen Gang froze.
He slowly exhaled.
Then, amid the stream of people coming and going, he knelt in Jin Sique’s direction.
He lowered his head and shouted, “I’m sorry, Student Jin! Please forgive me!”
The surroundings abruptly fell silent.
The Alphas, Betas, and Omegas filing out of the cafeteria all stared at the scene in shock.
Chen Gang was apologizing to Jin Sique?
They had not seen that incorrectly, had they?
“Holy shit?”
Zhu Wanqing exploded into action.
She immediately pulled out her phone and began recording Chen Gang.
“Say that again.”
Chen Gang raised his head and looked at Jin Sique, whose smile remained faint.
Jin Sique tilted her head, her smile deepening as she raised her eyebrows in encouragement.
The corner of Chen Gang’s mouth twitched.
Then he bent even lower and bowed his head farther, clenching his teeth tightly.
“Student Jin, I… ask for your forgiveness.”
“I was wrong.”
“I should not have liked those Weibo posts, made reckless comments, or spread rumors.”
“I’m clarifying it now. Everything I said was false!”
“Please withdraw the lawsuit… Student Jin!”
Chen Gang waited for a moment.
Only after a shadow covered the area around him did he realize something and abruptly raise his head.
Jin Sique and the others had already disappeared.
“…”
Wild laughter erupted around him.
“Hahahaha! Chen Gang, you spread sexual rumors about someone. You didn’t seriously think a simple apology would be enough, did you?”
“That’s disgusting. I even supported you on the forum, but you knelt before the trial even began.”
“Pathetic…”
For a moment, Chen Gang felt dizzy.
He turned but could not find Jin Sique.
All he saw were gazes directed at him as though he were some revolting piece of garbage.
“Trash.”
“I said long ago that he wasn’t a good person.”
“Disgusting. And he’s even on the basketball team. I must have been blind.”
“Sique is so pitiful for encountering someone like him…”
“I misunderstood Sique before.”

Lü Zhongcai extended one finger and swiped away several newly recommended entertainment headlines.
Her executive assistant stood before her.
“Chen Han has been waiting the entire day, President Lü…”
Lü Zhongcai glanced sideways.
Without raising her head, she swiped a roadshow proposal into the email trash folder.
“Tell President Chen that I’ll see him at the trial in two days.”
The executive assistant nodded, turned, and closed the office door behind her.
052 said, “Oh my, the black lotus’s situation is trending. Aren’t you going to look?”
“There is nothing worth seeing,” Lü Zhongcai replied.
“Oh,” 052 said.
Several minutes later—
Lü Zhongcai leaned against the president’s chair with one hand on the mouse, scrolling through the comments beneath each topic.
Did everything go smoothly at the hospital today?
A message appeared on her phone.
It was from Jin Sique.
Her tone seemed to remain exactly as Lü Zhongcai knew it—gentle, with a trace of timidity and dependence whenever she looked up at her.
Lü Zhongcai lowered her gaze.
She could not help recalling the person lying across the bed two nights earlier.
Even before Jin Sique had fully emerged from passion, the depths of her glistening eyes had resembled a frozen lake.
The moment she had asked that question, the trust between them had already collapsed.
Why?
After asking it that night, Jin Sique seemed to realize she had lost control and immediately changed her words and tone.
Yet that unfamiliar gaze had remained like a thorn lodged in Lü Zhongcai’s heart for two days.
It went smoothly, Lü Zhongcai replied briefly.
Jin Sique sent another message.
Are you coming home tonight? I made fish congee.
052 said, “The black lotus has raised the white flag. She is asking for your forgiveness and hoping you will treat what happened two days ago as a dream.”
“Hehehe. You certainly won’t accept such an obvious excuse, President Lü—”
Lü Zhongcai typed a reply.
I’ll come home.
Jin Sique sent:

052: “Damn it! Why did you accept the excuse so easily?”
“Look at how hopeless you are!” 052 complained furiously.
