The Cold Alpha's Black Lotus O Strategy Plan (GL) - Chapter 3
When classes ended, crowds poured out of the tiered lecture building, laughing and chatting. Most of the Alphas looked bright and spirited, while most of the Omegas appeared reserved and gentle.
Zhu Wanqing said, “Let’s go to the cafeteria later—”
“Senior, a-are you done with class?”
A passing female Alpha awkwardly greeted Jin Sique.
Zhu Wanqing poked her head out and glanced sideways at Jin Sique.
Jin Sique smiled faintly and pointed toward the sky, indicating the dismissal bell that had not yet finished ringing.
“Class is over.”
Half of Jin Sique’s long, slightly curled hair had been gathered back and secured behind her head with a hair clip, while several obedient strands hung over her chest.
The moment she smiled, the Alpha’s face immediately turned red.
Several people nearby began giggling. One of the girl’s friends shoved her, pushing her directly in front of Jin Sique.
Jin Sique stepped back several times to avoid the Alpha.
“What are you doing?!”
Like a mother hen protecting her chicks, Zhu Wanqing darted out from behind Jin Sique and loudly scolded the group of Alphas.
Another Alpha said, “She wants to confess.”
Jin Sique froze, her expression showing genuine surprise.
Zhu Wanqing said, “…Are you crazy?”
The Alpha’s face instantly flushed crimson. Having her secret exposed by her friends in front of everyone left her mortified and unable to back down. She stared at Jin Sique, stammering wordlessly.
The tide of passing students gradually slowed. More and more people turned around to watch Jin Sique, one of A University’s most famous students.
Jin Sique’s smile faded slightly. A blush appeared along her cheeks as she lowered her hands and folded them quietly in front of herself, gazing at the Alpha.
“Whoa! Get together! Get together! Get together!”
The surrounding students continued cheering. More passersby gathered around until they blocked the path.
The Alpha stared at Jin Sique, breathing rapidly.
Jin Sique brushed a loose strand of hair from beside her ear and revealed a slightly troubled expression.
Zhu Wanqing watched the scene speechlessly.
“Here we go again. It’s happening again. What’s even the point?”
Someone gently tugged on Zhu Wanqing.
She turned around irritably and saw that it was Roubao, their dormmate. The two immediately exchanged exasperated looks.
The Alpha said, “Senior… I… I am…”
The passersby held their breath, waiting to watch the confession scene that repeated itself almost every month.
Jin Sique said softly, “Well, I still have something to do…”
“Please, you must let me finish!”
The Alpha became nervous, her breathing growing more rapid. The pressure belonging to an Alpha instantly silenced Jin Sique, and the smile disappeared from her face.
Jin Sique’s expression darkened slightly.
“Go ahead.”
The young Alpha looked somewhat startled.
She did not know whether it had been her imagination, but for a brief instant, Jin Sique had seemed cold and indifferent.
The female Alpha said, “I…”
Jin Sique: twenty years old, secondary gender Omega, a second-year student majoring in theatrical performance at A University. Upon entering university as a freshman, she had been voted the prettiest girl in her department because of her exceptional appearance. Her clothing was understated yet luxurious, and her personality resembled the way she dressed—low-key, approachable, elegant, and polite.

By the time the meeting ended, evening was approaching.
Lü Zhongcai removed her earphones, rubbed between her brows, and picked up the bowl of rich soup beside her that had nearly gone cold.
She stirred it gently.
A pointed corner emerged from the surface.
Lü Zhongcai: “…”
She put down the bowl, picked up the remote control, and turned on the television. After connecting it to her computer monitor, she began watching the financial news she had missed over the past several days at an increased playback speed.
Lü Zhongcai’s fingers moved over the laptop’s touchpad.
An entertainment news window popped up.
She moved the cursor toward the close icon and was about to dismiss it when her gaze suddenly paused.
Someone knocked on the door.
Without raising her head, Lü Zhongcai said, “Come in.”
The door opened a crack, and a head peeked inside.
Jin Sique wore an obedient, playful smile.
“Your family member is here to deliver dinner.”
Lü Zhongcai’s fingers trembled twice.
Her fingertips brushed the laptop, and the space bar produced a crisp click.
Jin Sique closed the door behind her and placed the insulated food container beside Lü Zhongcai’s bed. She curiously looked toward the television screen.

Jin Sique’s gaze instantly turned cold.
She angled her body slightly, turning her back toward Lü Zhongcai, and rapidly skimmed through the report. Only after confirming that the photograph had been heavily pixelated did she compose her expression and turn around.
Lü Zhongcai remained expressionless.
She slid her finger across the touchpad, opened the comments section, and stopped the cursor over a firsthand account posted by a well-known online figure.
“Your university?” she asked. “Who was it?”
Jin Sique picked up the bowl of cold soup beside her, stirred it, and sniffed it. The smile in the corners of her eyes deepened.
“Mm, it seems like it. I don’t know those people.”
She looked into the bowl.
“Why is the chicken’s head still in the soup? Aren’t you afraid of creatures with pointed beaks? Who prepared this chicken soup?”
A dull ache pulsed at Lü Zhongcai’s temple.
She pressed her lips into a straight line, her expression severe, and gave a quiet hum.
Jin Sique took the food from the insulated container and arranged each dish on the table.
Lü Zhongcai scrolled past the entertainment report and refocused her attention on news about the bankruptcy of a company developing intelligent AI.
The headlines continued scrolling, but Lü Zhongcai found it difficult to read.
Just now, when her gaze had lingered on that entertainment report, a fragment of the novel titled The Canary, which had somehow buried itself inside her mind, had surfaced from countless tangled connections.
It created a link between what she had believed to be an illusory dream and reality.
The moment she saw the contents of the article and the recognizable landmark belonging to A University in the photograph, plot details concerning Jin Sique surfaced in her mind.
From Jin Sique’s perspective, their secret marriage had affected her university life.
Because of an Alpha’s possessiveness and desire to control her own Omega, Lü Zhongcai had clearly stipulated in their marriage agreement that Jin Sique must keep her distance from all Alphas.
She was forbidden from attending any social gathering involving Alphas and Omegas or Betas and Omegas.
Jin Sique’s reluctance to attend such events had also shrouded her mysterious personal life in an ambiguous, suggestive veil.
“Are you uncomfortable?”
A gentle voice sounded.
Lü Zhongcai’s hand was softly pulled away, and Jin Sique began carefully massaging her temple.
“Does your head hurt?”
“You…”
Jin Sique’s movements were gentle. The fragrance of fresh grass lightly drifted across Lü Zhongcai’s face.
“What is she acting so arrogant for? She’s nothing but a cheap whore.”
“Bitch…”
“She’s probably being kept by someone. Why does she keep pretending to be so pure?”
“She may be an Omega, but does she really need to wear scent-blocking patches every day? Could she be using them to hide bite marks?”
“Did you return to school today?” Lü Zhongcai asked, trying to drive the chaotic images from her mind.
Jin Sique set up a small bed table for Lü Zhongcai and arranged the food from the insulated container on it.
“I went back for class.”
Lü Zhongcai rubbed her temple and asked quietly, “What happened?”
Jin Sique froze.
Her expression faded slightly as she looked at Lü Zhongcai suspiciously.
“What do you mean?”
“What happened?”
Lü Zhongcai’s head felt as though it were splitting apart. She nearly roared the question in a fit of rage.
Jin Sique stumbled backward.
Beneath her startled expression, a trace of confusion appeared.
“Zhongcai?”
