After Pretending to Be an Alpha, I Was Exposed by My Rival - Chapter 15
“What about this?” Zhou Yijue took a Transformer down from the top shelf and impatiently asked Lu Chizhou.
“This? Hahahaha…” Lu Chizhou glanced at it and could not help laughing. The more he laughed, the more exaggerated it became. In the end, he was clutching his stomach and squatting on the floor, laughing so hard he could not control himself. Zhou Yijue was completely baffled and did not understand what part of this had hit Lu Chizhou’s mysterious laughing point.
Zhou Yijue looked at Lu Chizhou with a cold face.
Lu Chizhou finally realized he was about to get angry. Holding back his laughter, he straightened up while still unable to suppress his amusement. “You want to give a Transformer to a little girl? Hahahaha. Good thing you’re not really an Alpha. Otherwise, any Omega you chased—especially a female O—would definitely be angered to death by you.”
He did not know that those words had stepped right on Zhou Yijue’s sore spot.
Zhou Yijue hated his identity as an Omega the most. In his dreams, he wanted to become a truly powerful Alpha. Although he had always hidden his Omega traits and disguised himself as an Alpha, and almost everyone around him treated him as a strong A second only to Lu Chizhou, he himself knew clearly that no matter how strong he trained himself to be, no matter how many real Alphas he surpassed, he could never change the fact that he was an Omega.
One day, when suppressants stopped working on his body, he would no longer be able to hide his traits.
Just like last time. The suppressant he had always used had worked perfectly fine, but suddenly, there had been an accident.
That time, if not for Lu Chizhou, his Omega identity might have already been exposed. An unclaimed Omega suddenly going into heat in a bar was not as simple as having his identity exposed. It might also have triggered a fight among Alphas over him, and as the person at the center of it, his ending would have been as miserable as possible.
“What’s wrong? Did I say something wrong?” Seeing his expression grow uglier and uglier, Lu Chizhou deliberately came closer to coax him. But before he could get close, Zhou Yijue glared viciously at him and avoided him.
“Stay away from me.”
Zhou Yijue threw the Transformer in his hand into Lu Chizhou’s arms and stormed off angrily.
“Hey, wait for me.” Lu Chizhou put down the Transformer and quickly chased after him. The two of them chased one after the other down the street, running right past Yuan Big Head and the other two.
Five people were separated by a street.
Yuan Big Head, Wu Qi, and Houzi, who had been grabbing each other by the collars and preparing to fight, saw the two across the street. But the two people on the opposite side did not see them. Lu Chizhou looked very nervous as he chased after Zhou Yijue.
And Zhou Yijue looked very angry, running extremely fast.
After Yuan Big Head, Wu Qi, and Houzi saw them, their hands loosened unconsciously. They let go of each other’s collars, tilted their heads, and looked across the street in confusion.
“What’s going on with Brother Lu? Wasn’t he supposed to have asked him out for a fight?” Houzi’s face practically had two giant question marks written on it.
“I want to know the answer too.” Wu Qi had the same confused expression.
“This is the fight you were talking about?” Yuan Big Head said hehe-da.
Wu Qi: “…”
Houzi: “…”
It should have been. As for what change had happened in the middle, they did not know either.
To figure out what exactly was going on, the three temporarily stopped arguing and sneakily followed.
“Hey, wait for me.”
Lu Chizhou finally caught up to Zhou Yijue. He grabbed his wrist and pulled him to a stop. Zhou Yijue struggled, wanting to shake off Lu Chizhou’s hand. Lu Chizhou suppressed him several times and nearly had Zhou Yijue break free each time. In anger, he directly pressed him against the wall, trapping him with a kabedon.
“I told you to wait. Why are you running so fast?” After Lu Chizhou said this, he saw that the corners of Zhou Yijue’s eyes were a little red. He immediately became flustered. “Why are you crying? Was it because I said you weren’t an Alpha? Did that make you angry? I’m sorry.”
Lu Chizhou apologized sincerely, but the more he said, the worse it got. Zhou Yijue clenched his fists. Not wanting anyone to see him in such an embarrassing state, he shoved Lu Chizhou away and walked off with a cold face.
“Don’t hide from me. I know I was wrong. If you’re still angry, then hit me.” Lu Chizhou circled around and chased in front of him. He picked up Zhou Yijue’s hand and fiercely slapped it against his own face.
Smack.
The sound was rather shocking.
The three people spying from a distance were all stunned by that slap. Three confused faces stared at them.
“Can someone explain this to me? Did Brother Lu just voluntarily send his own face over for Zhou Yijue to hit?” Houzi’s mouth was open so wide an egg could fit inside.
“I also want to know the reason.” Wu Qi swallowed.
Yuan Big Head blinked and stepped forward. But after only taking two steps, Wu Qi and Houzi each grabbed one of his arms and dragged him back. They pinned him against the wall with the posture of interrogating a criminal and demanded, “What are you trying to do?”
Yuan Big Head looked baffled. “What the fuck do you think? I’m going to ask that bastard Lu Chizhou what he’s trying to do to our Little Zhouzhou.”
“Ask my ass. Don’t go. Brother Lu will slaughter you,” Houzi said.
“Why?” Yuan Big Head asked.
“Don’t ask. The answer is brute force,” Wu Qi replied.
“…” These three were a family of lunatics?
“Are you insane?” Zhou Yijue felt that his hand had gone numb, showing just how hard Lu Chizhou had used his hand to slap himself earlier.
“Not insane, but probably close.” Lu Chizhou pressed his tongue against his injured cheek and hissed. Then he smiled ingratiatingly at Zhou Yijue. “Don’t say it, your hand strength is pretty strong. That really hurt.”
“You’re clearly the one who hit yourself. You’re blaming me?” Zhou Yijue snorted.
“No, no. I’m not blaming you. How could I blame you? I was wrong first. I shouldn’t have spoken carelessly. Can we turn the page on this?” Lu Chizhou looked at Zhou Yijue expectantly.
Zhou Yijue had slapped him. Although he had not taken the initiative to do it himself, he had still gained an advantage. Besides, this was something he had promised Lu Chizhou first.
No matter how difficult something was, once he promised it, he had to complete it.
That was Zhou Yijue’s life principle.
After this little incident, buying things went much more smoothly. In less than an hour, they had chosen a gift.
Lu Chizhou wanted to send Zhou Yijue home, but Zhou Yijue firmly refused.
The two parted ways at the street corner and each went home.
After they separated, the remaining three were still on the street, staring at one another. The same thought appeared in their minds at the same time. But because that thought was too unbelievable and too shocking, none of them said it first.
They only communicated with their eyes, then silently sighed.
“If this is true, should we stop fighting and make peace?” Houzi suddenly said.
Wu Qi and Yuan Big Head looked at each other, their voices muffled in their throats. “Mm~”
“Speaking of which, there doesn’t seem to be any deep hatred between us, right? Hahaha…” Yuan Big Head scratched the back of his head and smiled with an honest expression.
“That’s true. Then let’s make peace. From now on, we’re brothers.” Houzi was the first to stretch out his fist. The three bumped fists and accepted one another as brothers.
When this happened, the two main people involved knew nothing about it.
The three disbanded and went home.
After getting home, Yuan Big Head excitedly contacted Zhou Yijue and invited him to log in and play the game.
“Little Zhouzhou, hurry and come help your bro pick up girls.” Yuan Big Head started a video chat, his huge head filling the entire video window.
Zhou Yijue was brushing his teeth. He placed his phone on the stand beside him and said unclearly, “Have you finished the homework Old Ban specially assigned to you?”
“Heh. If we don’t talk about homework, we’re still good brothers.” Zhou Yijue looked aggrieved. There were three other people in class whose grades were worse than his, but Old Ban gave him extra attention, always giving him private tutoring and assigning independent homework. It was really suffering.
“Old Ban gives you extra attention because he thinks you can still be saved. Don’t fail to appreciate kindness.” Zhou Yijue spat out the foam in his mouth and rinsed.
“Ying ying… This concubine’s life is lowly and cannot bear the emperor’s exclusive favor.” Yuan Big Head deliberately fake-cried, disgusting Zhou Yijue so much he almost swallowed the unboiled water.
“Go turn on your device first. I’ll come in a bit.” Afraid that if they continued talking, this guy would keep disgusting him, Zhou Yijue picked up a towel and wiped his mouth, agreeing to Yuan Big Head’s request to play a couple rounds later.
“Hehe, I knew Little Zhouzhou treats me the best.” Yuan Big Head blew Zhou Yijue a flying kiss, then left cheerfully.
