Xu Zhiqian felt the world was still a bit absurd, especially when she woke up in her Alpha’s arms.
Xu Zhiqian looked at the still-sleeping Li Zhengyin. The Alpha’s eyebrows and eyes were as handsome as she remembered, but there was a faint bluish tint under her eyes, a clear sign of lack of sleep. Louise’s emerald eyes were full of disdain. “Do you remember what happened last night?”
“Last night?” Xu Zhiqian’s thoughts returned. She remembered drinking with Su Ziqin. “Where’s Su Ziqin?”
Louise remembered the sight of them brushing past her last night. Fu Qingyun had been in such a hurry that she hadn’t even heard her voice. Louise took a breath, turned her head, and tried to hide the disappointment in her eyes. “She’s with her Alpha.”
Xu Zhiqian rubbed her still-swollen temples. She was a good drunk and never blacked out. “Why don’t I remember anything? Why is the tiger here?”
“You have the nerve to ask?” Louise rubbed her still-aching lower abdomen. Last night, she had brought this person to the hospital, thinking she would go see a doctor first. Louise had put her on a chair in the hospital hallway. When Louise came out, this person was gone.
She only found out after asking a nurse that this person had followed her Alpha’s scent, found Li Zhengyin, and hugged her so tightly that she couldn’t be pulled away. The person lying inside seemed to have been induced into a susceptible and had been injected with a strong inhibitor, leaving her semi-unconscious.

Louise stood up and stretched with difficulty. She shouldn’t have stayed here to watch over Xu Zhiqian. She didn’t know what had gotten into her. Su Ziqin had asked her to take Xu Zhiqian and run, and she felt it was her duty to take care of Xu Zhiqian. Even though she knew Xu Zhiqian had gone to lie in Li Zhengyin’s bed, she still chose to sit in the hallway.
“Since you’re fine, I’ll be leaving now.”

The phone rang for a long time before Su Ziqin finally answered.
“Please, what are you doing? Why did it take you so long to answer?”

Xu Zhiqian heard the brazen words coming from the phone receiver. She covered her face and hung up. So intense so early in the morning, damn it!
“She’s a piece of work!” Xu Zhiqian cursed under her breath. She must have really pushed Su Ziqin to her limit for her to answer her call at a time like this.
After her phone had charged for a while, Xu Zhiqian sent a vacation notice to HR for herself and Su Ziqin.
