Chapter 38

Pain. Intense pain.

Si Xia felt completely “drained,” so dry and sore that she could barely move an inch.

The Alpha, however, was still relentlessly pressing inward with all her might.

“Ming Ruixue!” Si Xia’s waist and back throbbed; her voice trembled as she gasped, “Are you even human?!”

Si Xia let out a weak roar, her voice soft and fragile. The person behind her showed no sign of stopping; those hands seemed to have been trained into muscle memory—as long as Si Xia moved, she acknowledged the pain.

Si Xia didn’t dare move again, but Ming Ruixue showed no signs of waking up either. She seemed exhausted, her breathing deep and heavy.

“…”

Si Xia maintained her posture in despair, gently grasping Ming Ruixue’s wrist, trying to pull her out.

However, Si Xia only managed to find her two pinky fingers; the other three remained inside. Si Xia swallowed hard, wanting to throw the hand away.

The moment she touched Ming Ruixue’s fingers, Si Xia’s head bumped against the nightstand—now there were four.

Si Xia bit her lip. “Ming Ruixue, wake up!”

After an unknown number of minutes, Ming Ruixue finally showed signs of waking. In her daze, she switched to her other hand.

Si Xia was going to lose her mind.

She pinched Ming Ruixue’s waist hard. Ming Ruixue felt the sting, caught Si Xia’s hand, and asked in a raspy voice, “What’s wrong?”

Ming Ruixue hadn’t fallen asleep until dawn. Being woken up now, her “morning grumpiness” was significant. “I’m dying of sleepiness.”

Si Xia was wide awake. “Ming Ruixue, take your hand away.”

Ming Ruixue had a splitting headache from lack of sleep. She opened her eyes, and her vision was filled with a snow-white back.

“…” Ming Ruixue snapped awake instantly. As she jolted upright, she was constricted by the tight nightgown they shared, dragging Si Xia up with her.

Ming Ruixue’s hand was pinned underneath, enveloped in soft, moist warmth.

She had forgotten the two of them were still wearing a single nightgown.

Ming Ruixue moved her aching fingers. Si Xia bit her lip and let out a whimper, “Don’t move…”

At such a close distance, the Omega’s back was pressed against her. Because of the pain, Si Xia could only lean her body back to ease the sensation.

Ming Ruixue broke into a sweat, using her other hand to prop her up. “Lift yourself up a bit…”

Si Xia had no strength and couldn’t lift herself. Ming Ruixue frowned. “Maybe you should just lie back down.”

With no other choice, Si Xia lay back. Once her whole body relaxed, she felt a wave of soreness in her legs.

She wouldn’t be able to walk at all today.

Ming Ruixue pulled her arms out of [Read on BaiLianTales]the nightgown. Si Xia immediately shielded herself with the quilt, looking like she had been bullied.

Ming Ruixue straightened her nightgown. Seeing Si Xia like this, she couldn’t help but tease her. “Si Xia, is your heat over?”

Heat.

Si Xia’s eyes went wide. “I was in heat last night?”

“Not just your heat.” Ming Ruixue propped her hands on the bed, leaning over her. “You were also in your feline estrus. Last night you forced me, made me help you…”

Si Xia’s dark eyes flickered. Ming Ruixue leaned into her ear and whispered, “Made me use my mouth to help you… all night long.”

Si Xia: “?!”

“Ho—How is that possible!” Si Xia looked up blankly. “Just now it clearly wasn’t…”

Her voice grew quieter and quieter. Ming Ruixue massaged her fingers one by one. “I didn’t agree to that, though. I only helped you with…”

Si Xia watched helplessly as Ming Ruixue bent her fingers into various angles, almost as if she were doing it on purpose.

“Ming Ruixue!” Si Xia gave her a weak kick, and the pain immediately brought a layer of mist to her eyes.

“Alright, I’ll stop teasing you.” Ming Ruixue took a first-aid kit from the storage cabinet. “Come here. Let’s apply some medicine so you’ll heal faster.”

Si Xia tucked her feet into the quilt, her neck turning beet red. “No.”

“If you don’t apply the medicine, don’t think about walking properly for a week.” Ming Ruixue wasn’t trying to scare her. Last night she had said she wanted to stop, but Si Xia had clung to her, saying no.

After an entire night, it would be a miracle if she could walk.

Si Xia’s eyes were rimmed with red, and a teardrop fell with a splat. “You bullied me, wuwuwu…”

“Si Xia, apply the medicine first, then I’ll reason with you.” Ming Ruixue grasped her slender ankle, used one hand to support her lower back, and pulled her close. “Open the quilt.”

“No.” Si Xia tried to kick her away, but it was like a cat scratching—it had no effect. “I’ll do it myself.”

“The last time I let you do it yourself, you didn’t apply the medicine, did you?” Ming Ruixue threw back the quilt and dragged her onto her lap. “Don’t move. It’s not like I haven’t touched it before.”

“Hey—” Si Xia covered her face, too embarrassed to face the world. “Wuwuwu… Ming Ruixue, you have to take responsibility for me!”

“Fine, I’ll take responsibility,” Ming Ruixue agreed quickly. “So, as your girlfriend, it’s only right for me to apply the medicine now, isn’t it?”

“Huh?” Before Si Xia could react, she had to bite her lip the next second to keep from making a sound.

At first, it was a cotton swab dipped in ointment. It felt cool and comfortable as it was applied. But then, Ming Ruixue felt the medicine wouldn’t be absorbed well if it was just on the surface, so she actually used her fingertip to push it in, ensuring the ointment was fully absorbed.

Si Xia turned red from head to toe, tiny syllables escaping her throat.

Ming Ruixue massaged while saying, “If it hurts, just cry out. You don’t have to hold it in.”

Si Xia buried her face in the pillow and muttered, “I. Will. Not.”

About a minute later, Ming Ruixue tucked her back into the quilt.

Si Xia felt as if a heavy burden had been lifted, her spine tingling with a soft numbness as she lay on the bed.

Ming Ruixue propped her hands on either side of Si Xia, looking down at her with a smile. “It’s all swollen. Don’t go to work these next few days; just rest at my place. Leave once you’re better.”

Si Xia puffed out her cheeks and said nothing.

Ming Ruixue continued, “Ointment three times a day. I’ll help you apply it on time.”

Si Xia froze, her face knotting with a complex expression. “No.”

” ‘No’ isn’t an option. Last night I said ‘no,’ did you listen?” Ming Ruixue tapped her fingertip against Si Xia’s forehead. “I know what you’re going to say. But I absolutely don’t have a habit of bullying people. I’m just treating you with your own medicine.”

After saying this, Ming Ruixue showed Si Xia the piece of paper from the nightstand.

After reading it, Si Xia almost turned into a cat from shock. How could she have written such unreasonable, excessive, terrifying, and shameless demands?!

“Done reading?” Ming Ruixue took the paper back. “I need to keep this safe, lest some people refuse to own up to their deeds.”

Si Xia turned her head away awkwardly. “Ming Ruixue, you took advantage of my precarious state.”

“Is that so?”

“You did it while I was drunk and not lucid…”

Ming Ruixue leaned in, her fingers running through the ends of Si Xia’s hair, touching the skin behind the Omega’s ear. “Well, you won’t be drunk tonight, will you?”

Si Xia’s scalp went numb. “Wha—what?”

“If you aren’t drunk tonight, then I wouldn’t be taking advantage of your state, right?”

“Go away…!”

Ming Ruixue pinched her reddened earlobe and said, “I’ll serve my girlfriend with my mouth tonight. I promise it won’t hurt.”

“Wuwuwu…” Si Xia dodged her hand. “I don’t want to be your girlfriend.”

Ming Ruixue naturally wouldn’t allow that. ” I will take responsibility for your first time, and I want every time of yours from now on.”

Si Xia was scared into tears. “Wuwuwu…”

The little kitten was being disobedient; if she cried from fear, she had to be coaxed.

Looking at Si Xia’s soft profile, Ming Ruixue silently decided that she was definitely going to have this girlfriend. If Si Xia was unwilling, she would pursue her; regardless, she was going to take responsibility to the end. She couldn’t let this little kitten, whom she had personally “refined,” fall into someone else’s hands.

After a night of physical labor, neither of them had eaten much. Ming Ruixue felt physically weak, as if she had been nearly “hollowed out.” Even the hand holding the soup spoon was trembling; it was too embarrassing.

Being this weak, how could she be worthy of a girlfriend?

Ming Ruixue sent a message to Peng Jia: [Help me buy a hand-grip strengthener and leave it at the security booth. I’ll pick it up myself.]

She placed special emphasis on picking it up herself to prevent Peng Jia from coming up.

Peng Jia thought it was strange but didn’t ask questions; she rarely interfered with Ming’s private life. She bought it quickly, and by the time Ming Ruixue got back with it, the porridge on the stove was ready.

Si Xia needed some porridge to regain her strength; once she had some energy, Ming would cook something better.

Ming Ruixue brought a bowl of porridge to the bedside just as Si Xia woke up. She held Si Xia against her chest by the bed, feeding her with the spoon. “Si Xia, have some porridge.”

“No.”

Ming Ruixue: “What’s wrong? Not hungry?”

Si Xia bit her lip, hesitating for a second. “I haven’t brushed my teeth.”

Ming Ruixue paused, having almost forgotten. She found a new toothbrush in the storage cabinet, but Si Xia had a new demand: “Clothes.”

Ming Ruixue brought over a new set of pajamas. Si Xia held the long-sleeved top and long pants. “Is that all?”

“There’s more.” Ming Ruixue brought over the underwear, saying deliberately, “You refused to wear them no matter what last night; I thought you didn’t need them.”

“Ming Ruixue!” Si Xia threw a pillow at her. “Shut up!”

The pillow was light and felt like [bailiantales.com]nothing when it hit her face; besides, Si Xia had no strength, so throwing the pillow felt more like flirting.

The Omega was huffing with anger. Ming Ruixue stopped teasing her and turned around while she dressed, then came back and asked, “Can you walk?”

Walk? Si Xia couldn’t even stand on the floor. Ming Ruixue scooped her up in a princess carry and entered the bathroom. She propped one leg on a stool, letting Si Xia sit on her lap.

Si Xia: “…”

Ming Ruixue held her while squeezing the toothpaste. Si Xia was stunned. Ming Ruixue gave her leg a jolt, and Si Xia snapped back to reality.

Ming Ruixue shoved the toothbrush into her small mouth. “Do you want me to brush for you?”

Before Si Xia could say “no,” Ming Ruixue spoke first, “You want it, don’t you?”

With her mouth full of foam, Si Xia could only watch as Ming Ruixue stared at her and said, “Who knows who it was that kept saying they wanted it all night long.”

Si Xia glared at her and smeared some toothpaste foam onto Ming Ruixue’s cheek.

Feeling the cool, minty toothpaste, Ming Ruixue rubbed her cheek. Si Xia let out a hum through [unauthorized copy]her nose, mumbling through the foam, “Stop… talking nonsense.”

“Nonsense?” Ming Ruixue gripped her slender thigh and moved upward. When she touched the root of the thigh, Si Xia’s whole body shuddered.

“Don’t you want it?” Ming Ruixue gave it a squeeze. “Whether I’m talking nonsense or not, you know best.”

Si Xia choked slightly, spat out the foam, finished rinsing, and intended to argue it out with Ming Ruixue.

But Ming Ruixue’s tone suddenly shifted, her gaze filled with heavy expectation. “So, will you be my girlfriend, okay?”

Si Xia’s eyelid twitched. She reacted for at least thirty seconds. “Are you for real?”

Ming Ruixue smiled gently. “It’s twelve o’clock noon.”

Si Xia didn’t understand what she meant.

Ming Ruixue’s pupils were dark as she looked at her. “It’s time to apply medicine to my girlfriend.”
